Descend 700+ wooden steps through jungle to reach a crescent cove with white sand and turquoise waters; the steep climb back up takes 20–30 minutes and is physically demanding, so plan accordingly and wear sturdy sneakers. The staircase naturally filters crowds, leaving the beach quiet and serene, with calm protected waters ideal for swimming and snorkeling along rocky points. White-faced capuchins, coatis, and iguanas regularly walk across the sand and dunes; keep bags secured as these animals actively forage for food. Access is free via a public parking lot and complimentary shuttle running every 15–20 minutes (8 AM–5 PM); pack light and bring your own water and snacks, as there are no vendors or restaurants on the beach.
