When Is the Best Time to Visit Costa Rica?
Costa Rica doesn't have a bad time. It has two seasons — dry (December through April) and green (May through November) — and they offer genuinely different experiences. The dry season brings clear skies and reliable access to Pacific beaches and mountain trails. The green season brings thundering waterfalls, a jungle so vivid it almost glows, and significantly fewer tourists. The places below shine throughout the year — but each has a peak window worth knowing.
