Reflective
Space to hear yourself think
The places that change how you think are rarely the obvious ones. A cloud forest trail where the mist makes every turn a small mystery. A thermal pool where the sulphur smell and the birdsong arrive at the same time. A mountain pass where you're above the clouds and the rest of the world has temporarily ceased to be your concern. These places don't ask you to do anything except pay attention.
When to visit
The green season (May through November) intensifies the reflective quality — rain, mist, and the feeling that you've arrived somewhere that doesn't particularly care if you're there.
